here is a letter
Dear Sam, my friend gets all A's and doesnt even have to study. I work hard in school and get C's. Its not fair. should i quit school?
here is the reply...
it would be nice if everyone could get all A's in school, but thats not the reality of our existence. Each person has different abilities, talents and interests. If everyone became rocket scientist, who would fix the plumbing? If everyone sold vacuum cleaners, who would design clothes? if everyone built cars, who would take care of the sick?
God has given different gifts (abilities) to different people (1 Corinthian 12:14-26). This passage is directed to gifts that are used in church, but the truth applies to careers also. Each gift or ability is important and comtributes to the goodness of life for everyone.
God knew when he created you that there were many kinds of jobs to be done. So your gift isnt getting easy A's. Sure, getting good grades is important. But its not the only thing. Discover what it is that you are good at, and then use that gift to the best of your ability. Stay in school, learn as much as you can, do the best you can at whatever you do. whatever you do, it is important. And so are you.
i am spenting toooo much... someone please stop me... ah~~~~
my birthday will be coming soon. i am not sure what i plan to do. work? yes.. thats definitely since its a payroll day.. haiz.. i am hoping i can take leave on 27 june so that i can run away from this place for a while. just wanna spent some time alone.. enjoy the breeze.. enjoy God's creations..
since my birthday is coming i bought a gift for my mom. its a book call " God thinks you are a wonderful mom.." i love the book a lot. i am not sure she knows she is a wonderful mom. hm..i guess it doesnt matter if she knows.. no matter what, human still needs reassurance. it might sounds really strange why i am buying a present for my mom on my birthday..
however... on June 26 2008 will be a day my parents have taken care of me for 21 years. endure my stupid habits for 21 years. spoil me for 21 years.
